Yay, it got up to 80 degrees here, and the rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful!! I'm so excited that I actually get to dress in warm-weather appropriate duds! If you can't tell, warm weather makes me super happy. Last summer in Vegas there were days that it got up to 118+, and I'm fine in that!!

While taking these pictures, my baby Emmie decided it would be fun to eat some plants. Totally normally for dogs I know, but here's a picture:

New series: Trending Tuesday

When a new trend is out that I'm loving, I tend to lean towards it in multiple areas. I have always loved to wear animal print, and the print shows up in the house and other areas as well. I think there is such a connection between fashion trends and design, so each time I'll compare two different "must have" items for a specific trend. Enjoy!

Short post today, I'm finishing some homework then off to class. I have wayyyy too much stuff to get done, I'm not even in the mood to do it! The pouring rain doesn't make it any better, it's poured for the last week. It's supposed to get into the 70's next week though, fingers crossed! At least this means I can go slip my Hunter's on;)

Oh yay, no bathroom mirror pics for this post!!! ;) I'm so excited I found a little photographer! I am for sure going to start using my nixon for pictures though, I think they'll turn out a lot better. I'm definitely loving a big contrast for colors this spring, both mint and cobalt look great paired together! With an outfit this bright, I try to stick to minimal jewelry that's still edgy. A great pair of contrasting heels completes it, leopard goes with everything ;)

Inspiration: Spring Layering

Living in the Northwest, we have a terrible spring. It normally rains until June... then the sun shows up for a couple weeks in the summer. Wearing wedges and pretty skirts and dresses everyday in the spring just sadly, isn't an option for me. I created this outfit for those dreary spring days where you still want to be cute, but practical as well! Being a student, I think this is perfect, it would be comfy too!!

I LOVE polka dots!! They are the cutest thing ever. I was in J Crew two weekends ago, and fell in love with this skirt that is completley necessary for me to have! The month of June is going to be full of important events for me, so I must have this ;) I'm so in love with it I styled it for an upcoming post! Hope you all have a great Tuesday :)
