Red pants and new boots.....

T-shirt: Target | Cardigan: Boutique {similar here} | Red skinnies: F21 {Summer 2012, similar here and here in burgundy} | Boots: Buckle {buy here} | Jewelry: Aloha Stadium, J Crew

Red skinnies are perfect for fall, I love pairing them with neutrals for just the right pop of color. Good news, I start my new job today! I'm excited for a change of pace. Yesterday I bought two new pairs of boots oops, I'm trying to decide so your opinions are welcomed ;)

I posted about these yesterday, and so glad I found them at DSW. I'm in love with the detail on the back!! So edgy... buy them here for a great price!!

These remind me a lot of the coveted Sam Edelman boots that me and everyone else wants.... I loved them too much to pass up! Buy them here

What do y'all think? Maybe I should just keep both?? ;)

A little hue crazy

So, I think it's safe to say that I am obsessed with colored jeans. They are so much fun to play with! I have been on the hunt for a totally different shade than the ones I have, so I've been thinking hot pink, coral, and the neon variations. Today I've put together three {similar} hued pants, all for different occasions. I think sometimes it's hard to wear such a trend in so many ways, but these are totally versatile!

Look ONE:
Day Date

Top: Madewell
Skinnies: Target
Tennies: Converse
Sunnies: Tory Burch
Watch: MK
Necklace: J Crew {Yay just ordered this! Happiness!}

If you know me...... you know that baseball is my life. I think this is the perfect outfit for baseball any type of sporting or more casual event, yet on point at the same time! The converse make it a little more rugid, while the hot pink pants are super girly! I tried these on yesterday, they're a great deal, but I suggest sizing up, maybe even 2 sizes, depending on your height. I will definitely be wearing this outfit to cheer on Blake this summer!

Look TWO:
Weekend Brunch
T-shirt: J Crew
Pants: J Crew
Wedges: Aldo
Sunnies: Tory Burch
Necklace: Kate Spade {check eBay}
Earrings: Tory Burch

Something that is so peaceful to me during the summer is late weekend brunches.... there is something so soothing to me, maybe it's the nice weather?! Hmmm some of that would be nice..... Anyways, I also really like a casual/dressy way to wear these. It's polished in a comfortable way, and also appropriate enough to be in a nice restaraunt. Because these pants are so bright, sticking with neutral yet fun accessories is the way to go.

Look THREE:
Date Night
Top: J Crew
Skinnies: AE
Flats: Tory Burch
Clutch: Tory Burch
Watch: MK
Earrings: Tory Burch
Bracelets: J Crew, J Crew

I don't know about y'all, but date night is critical in my relationship. Being long distance is pretty hard, but our date nights make it worth it. I always try to look put together and presentable, but I also think this outfit has a balanced pop of color against all neutrals. A night out should stick to being classy and covered up, but you should also retain a sense of style.... in this case, neon pants! ;) I bought these, and they fit perfectly. I'm so excited to try to recreate this look for a date night this summer! It might also be a perfect day outfit for my birthday:)

I hope you all got inspired by this post!! On another note, Krista at A Serious Southern Shopaholic is giving away one of these gorgeous necklaces.....
Hop on over to her blog to check it out! Isn't it gorgeous?! AND, if you win, you get to pick what color you want! Fingers crossed :)

Hope you all have had a great weekend and are still relaxing... Happy Memorial Day to those who have and are serving our country.

Continuing with the favorite...

Top: Nordstroms | Skinnies: F21 {Similar} | Sandals: Charlotte Russe | Necklace: H&M {Recent, check stores} | Watch: Aloha Stadium | Bracelets: CR, Gifted

If you can't tell that I'm obsessed with my mint skinnies... well let's just say I couldn't go without them! I love the contrast with the royal blue. If you're not bold enough to mix completley mix opposite colors, try pairing colors that are in the same range. Then add some fun accessories to bring it all together. I have so much to get done, a 12 page paper due Monday and I've started the first paragraph.... oh joy! And it doesn't help that my work schedule is crazy this weekend. Back to loooong hours after having such a great schedule the past couple of weeks.

...

Happy Thursday!

Polka dots and bright shoes

Top: Boutique in Hawaii, Pants: Love Culture {here} Flats: Report via Nordies Rack {similar} Cuff: Charlotte Russe {similar} Bangles: Gifts {similar} Necklaces: Juicy Couture {here} horseshoe {similar} Sunnies: eBay {Promising myself that I will buy these because I'm loving these ones so much}

Love a good contrasting outfit.... I like the mint undertones in this green top, and the red shoes add a pop. I picked these up yesterday and I was a little skeptical because they don't have the look of your 'normal' flat... they are cut high on your foot, but after a day of wearing them I love them! I also like almost the ombre effect of the lighter kahki color down to pants. Also started my half marathon training yesterday, so we'll see how that goes.... ;)
Ps. Yes, Emmie wanted to be involved in the pictures:)

Happy Tuesday y'all!!

A little contrast

Dress {worn as a shirt, so versatile}: Buy here.
Cobalt blue pants: Papaya {I'm obsessed, I have to refrain from wearing these at least once a week.}
Flats: Buy here on sale!! {These are so comfy. I'm normally an 8 1/2, bought an 8 and they fit perfectly. Totally recommend these!!}
Watch: Aloha Stadium Flea Market.
Rhinestone bracelet: Juicy Couture {No longer available}
Spike bracelets: Charlotte Russe {Not online, but if you have a store in your area, they're currently only $5!!}

Oh yay, no bathroom mirror pics for this post!!! ;) I'm so excited I found a little photographer! I am for sure going to start using my nixon for pictures though, I think they'll turn out a lot better. I'm definitely loving a big contrast for colors this spring, both mint and cobalt look great paired together! With an outfit this bright, I try to stick to minimal jewelry that's still edgy. A great pair of contrasting heels completes it, leopard goes with everything ;)

Have a great Thursday, it's almost the weekend!
